The second IPhT course of this academic year will start on Friday 12 January at 10:00, with the first of 5 lectures by Bertrand Eynard on Riemann surfaces. For the abstract and further details, see the course's web page.
The lectures are open to all: students, postdocs and researchers, whether IPhT members or outsiders. Do not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who might be interested.
The lecture notes and recordings for Pierfrancesco URBANI's first lecture on "Statistical physics of glassy systems: tools and applications" can be accessed from the course's webpage [1].
The second lecture will take place tomorrow Friday, November 17th at 10:00 as planned.
The program of next year's IPhT courses is now known. The courses will start on 10 November 2017 with the first of six lectures by Pierfrancesco Urbani on glassy systems. These will be followed in 2018 by courses by Bertrand Eynard, Monica Guica, Rémi Monasson, and Marco Cirelli. For more details, see the poster here:
An updated and completed version of the lecture notes for Adam Falkowski's course on Effective field theories can now be accessed from the course's webpage. Further updates of the notes may become available at the same website.
The lecture notes and recordings for Michel BAUER's second lecture on Markovian open quantum systems can now be accessed from the course's webpage [1].
The third lecture will take place on Friday, June 16th as planned.
Draft notes for the first lecture of Michel Bauer course 'An introduction to Markovian open quantum systems' are available online. Video recording of the first lecture will be available online in 1-2 days.
The lecture notes for Adam Falkowski's fourth and last lecture on Effective field theories can now be accessed from the course's webpage. The fourth lecture will take place tomorrow Friday 12 May as planned.
The lecture notes for Adam Falkowski's third lecture on Effective field theories can now be accessed from the course's webpage. The third lecture will take place today Friday 5 May as planned. A Mathematica notebook for the second lecture is also available.
